Shipping & Returns
Australia & International Orders are shipped using Australia Post from Melbourne to Australia and the Rest of the World.
NZ orders are shipped using NZ Post from Auckland.
During very busy sales periods, or due to a product being out of stock in one location but in stock in another, some orders may need to be dispatched to Australia or the Rest of the World from Auckland, or to New Zealand from Melbourne.

Please ensure you are providing a shipping address to which the item can be safely delivered and left – we can not send replacements or refund for items deemed “left in a safe place” by the carriers. Once the tracking number has been sent to you, please make note of it, and track it both with the local carrier with whom it was dispatched, and also with your local post if ordering internationally. The international tracking reference will provide more information
If shipping internationally, DHL is an express service for extremely quick delivery, while Aus Post is an economy tracked service.

Pre Order Information
From time-to-time we offer products on preorder. We will provide the most accurate ETA we have to hand, and we only offer preorders once products are en route and with an expected date of approximately 6 weeks (late April).
- If your order includes both in-stock and preorder items, we will ship everything together once all items are available. To receive in-stock items sooner, place a separate order to avoid confusion on our end (sorry, it is very difficult to accommodate specific requests during preorder times)
- Afterpay is available for pre-orders, and your payments to them will start immediately – we cannot interfere with this.
- ETA is the most accurate date we expect the item to arrive with us, based on information given by our shipping agents. There may occasionally be delays in shipping and customs, and our standard shipping times apply after they arrive to us.
- While we can cancel your order and refund the preorder item, if there are any in-stock personalised items in the order, these will be done in advance, so we may not be able to refund in full. Refunds will be in accordance with our refund T & C (including admin/restock fee), unless there is more than a 6 week delay to the pre-order in which case we will waive the restocking fee
- If you are concerned about any possible delays, or time is of the essence, a preorder may not be your best option. We will keep you updated if there is to be any delay of more than one week.
PROMOTIONAL OFFERS
Promotional offers generally exclude sale items, or products which are already ‘bundled’ and discounted. You can only use one code per order, multiple codes will not work together. If you are uncertain, please enquire before placing your order to megan@forgetmenotjournals.com
SALES, SHIPPING & DUTIES
Payment is via credit card processed through our merchants or internet banking (Account to Account) only.
You also agree to pay the correct delivery and handling fee – which are subject to change. If you select ‘non-rural shipping’ and the address is rural, you will be asked to cover the difference.
You are liable for any international import duties, customs & local sales taxes levied by the country you are shipping to. These taxes and duties may need to be paid in order to release your order from customs on arrival into your country. This is an Australian based business and we will not be responsible for any taxes, customs or other duties.
Prices are subject to variation without notice. The price payable for the goods shall be the price applicable on the date the goods are confirmed as ordered.
Returns & Refunds
We will gladly replace any item that is deemed faulty or is damaged on arrival, please notify us within 2 days of receiving the item on megan@forgetmenotjournals.com
For damage on arrival, please hold onto all packaging – this is essential for us to make a claim for the damage by the carrier, and we may require you to comply with any request by Aus Post/Postal carrier to retrieve the item/hand-back to them. We will happily repair or replace all goods that are classified as faulty after assessment.
We offer a satisfaction guarantee less restocking fee - you can return any unwanted order for your money-back, subject to the below conditions. Contact must be made within 2 days of delivery, and the return must be received to our address in Melbourne within 14 days of the date it was delivered to you. Any ‘free’ gifts must also be included to receive a refund. Personalised items are expressly excluded from any refunds.
For all returns we recommend using a traceable delivery method and taking note of your tracking number. A refund (unless we are at fault) will always be less the actual cost of shipping we incurred, which in some instances will be more than we charge (i.e. free shipping). From time to time, we may offer free shipping or subsidised shipping, in which case this will be taken into account for the refund amount. If the book is damaged on its return journey to us, the carrier claim will be the responsibility of the sender.
Unless the company is at fault in any way, or the item is faulty, any refund will also be less any Transaction Fees incurred when using credit card (4% unless using Afterpay/Laybuy which is 241641) component of the purchase (because this is not refundable to us by those merchants), and a restocking fee of 15%.
Your refund will be credited to the original purchaser’s credit card or bank account. Please note, card refunds may take up to 3 business days for your bank to complete, depending on their processing time. This can vary between card issuers.
Who pays international Duties, Taxes and Customs Charges?
We cannot guarantee tax and duty fees will not be imposed when purchasing internationally. If this situation should arise, this is the sole responsibility of you as the receiver. Please contact your local customs authority for more information.
