Seconds are books with small marks or minor production faults — a slightly worn foil letter, a mark on the linen, a corner that did not press cleanly. Everything inside is exactly as it should be.
What is included?
The selection changes, but everything here is the same product we sell at full price — same linen, same gold foil, same archival paper. Nothing is made specially for sale.
Can these still be personalised?
Usually yes, though some reduced stock is already embossed or is being cleared without personalisation. The product page will say. If you are unsure, ask before ordering rather than after.
Is anything wrong with them?
Cosmetically, yes — that is why they are reduced. Structurally, no. The binding, the paper and the pages are identical to full-price stock, and the faults are the kind most people stop noticing within a week of using the book.
What if I want something that is not here?
The full range is always available at standard prices, and most of what appears here appears because of a colour change or a small production mark rather than because it stopped selling.
